CJ lauds bar role in justice dispensation

Chief Justice Supreme Court Iftikhar Muhammaad Chaudhary has said that without the active participation of bar, the goal of speedy justice cannot be fulfilled.

He was talking to a 13-member delegation of Supreme Court Bar Association, AJ&K headed by its President Raja Fazal Hussain Rubani, which called on him on Wednesday in his office.
He said that there is strong judiciary  and  viable bar in AJ&K The Bars of Azad Kashmir had also played an effective and courageous role during the period of the lawyers’ movement in Pakistan.
The delegation apprised Chief Justice of the problems faced by the legal fraternity. The delegation also paid tributes to the  Chief Justice for untiring efforts for the constitutionalism, rule of law and independence of judiciary.
They also invited him to visit Supreme Court Bar Association, AJK, at his convenience.
