RAWALPINDI - Police during an ongoing campaign against anti-social elements nabbed 9 drug peddlers and illegal arms holders from different localities of the city.
The police also recovered 230 grams of Charas, 50 bottle of liquor, 5 pistols of 30 bore with 15 bullets, 1 repeater of 12 bore, 1 Kalashnikov with 100 bullets and a dagger from the possession of the detainees being interrogated after registration of cases against them, informed police spokesman on Friday.
Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) Azhar Hameed Khokher, in compliance with orders of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Haji Habib-ur-Rehman, will hold open katcheri at 11am at Police Station (PS) Rawat to listen the public complaints against police injustice.
