Imran Khan asks Karzai to work together to end violence

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, in a letter to Afghan President Hamid Karzai, has said that each and every stakeholder must be on board in order to bring Afghanistan out of war.

Khan, while replying to the letter of Hamid Karzai, has urged the two nations to carve out a joint strategy to end the violent incidents.
Commenting on the drone attacks, Khan wrote, “Innocent civilians are paying the price of drone attacks and militancy.”
He further wrote, “People of Pakistan and Afghanistan must work together to eliminate poverty and illiteracy from the region.
“PTI completely supports efforts of reconciliation in Afghanistan,” he added. Imran Khan has thanked Afghan President for his support for Malala Yousafzai. Khan also expressed his grief over the lives lost in the decade long Afghan war.
