RAWALPINDI – In different parts of Rawalpindi city, 147 persons have lost their lives, while 322 sustained injuries, in road accidents during the current year.
According to records, 286 road accidents were reported during the current year which claimed 147 lives and injured 322 others. In the corresponding period of last year, 129 persons died, while 377 were injured in road accidents.
According to sources, in first nine months of the current year, 221 road accidents of severe nature occurred in Rawalpindi region, claming 300 lives and injuring 361 persons. Moreover, 502 persons were injured in 361 mild road accidents in the region.
