Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that relations between Pakistan and India have entered into a new era after the president Asif Ali Zardari visit to India. He expressed these views while talking to nominated High Commission for India Salman Bashir, who called on him at the Interior Ministry on Thursday. The minister congratulated the nominated High Commissioner on his appointment and expressed hope that Salman Bashir would play an important role to further strengthen ties between Pakistan and India. He said that people of Pakistan are waiting for the visit of Indian Prime Minister to Pakistan.
