Lack of post office facilities irks Talhar residents

ISLAMABAD - Non-provision of post office facilities has multiplied miseries of residents of Talhar.

“Our village is located at the distance of 13 kilometers from federal capital and its population runs into over 20000 but it lacks the vital facility of post office when no area in the country can be cited where post office facilities are not existing|, said Gulzar Ahmad, a resident. “ Often our important documents are misplaced while traveling to Islamabad and if post office facility is provided we can mail them easily, said Shahbaz Ahmad, a resident.
“We can not receive telephone bills timely and often we have to approach telephone office to obtain duplicate bills, said a school teacher. The residents demanded immediate provision of post office facilities to them otherwise they will be constrained to hold protest demonstrations.
