A meeting of the parliamentary commission on the creation of new provinces in Punjab was held with Senator Farhatullah Babar in the chair. The commission finalized the draft of the 24th constitutional amendment 2013 unanimously. The signed draft will be handed over to the speaker National Assembly on Monday.
Bahawalpur-South Punjab will be the name of the new province with Multan as the provincial capital and the governor house will be in Bahawalpur, sources said.
