JI submits adjournment motion in Senate against Sialkot lynching, US drone attacks, power tariff

at-e-Islami on Friday moved adjournment motion in the Upper House against Sialkot barbarism, drone attacks that has killed some 476 innocent people since 2010 and NEPRA bomb shell on masses.
The Senators hailing from JI including Senator Professor Khursheed Ahmed, Professor Ibrar, Afia Zia and others submitted adjournment motion against Sialkot carnage, US drone attacks and power tariff in the Senate.
They strongly condemned the two brother lynching case adding that Punjab was being made Police State Province.
They said the lynching of two brothers was worst example of brutality. They stated that all elements involved in the lynching of two brothers should be punished strictly and nobody would be allowed to take the Law in their own hands.
They said that they had submitted the adjournment motion in Senate against the brutal killing of the two brothers. They said that heinous killing of the brothers is unprecedented.
They submitted an adjournment motion against increase in power tariff by the government.
JI were again clear-cut in their stance that it is yet another bomb shell on the poor masses as NEPRA increased power tariff by 26 paisa urging government to halt such practices as poor segments of the society and even middle class cannot afford time to increase in power tariff.
On the other hand since the arrival of 2010, more than 50 drone attacks have occurred that has taken some 467 innocent lives while instead of targeting militants, innocents people were killed. Only 48 terrorists have been killed.
