Board dims shining students’ celebrations

ISLAMABAD - Though, the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) announced the results of the Secondary School Certificate Annual Examination Part II 2012 on Thursday but unlike the usual practice only the names and marks of the position holders were released to the media.

No arrangements were made to release the pictures of the position holders for publication in print media that has been a usual practice for years. Publishing of names and marks details along with the pictures is a kind of encouragement for the students, which they keep with them as a record and feel proud.
Though, the board officials would term their mismanagement a minor mistake but it has spoiled the celebrations of the position holders and their families.
