ISLAMABAD – Mother of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Pirzada Rahat Quddusi, who died due to heart failure, was laid to rest at Sharifabad graveyard late Monday night.
The funeral prayer of the deceased was attended by political leaders, workers and other notables of the city.
Those who attended the funeral prayer included MNA Malik Abrar, Zia Ullah Shah, Raja Hanif Advocate, Dr Waseem Shehzad, Agha Riazul Islam, Tariq Kiyani, Anjum Farooq Paracha, Amir Fida Paracha, Khalid Nawaz Bobi, Raja Nasir, Hamid Nawaz, Shaheen Khan, Sadaqat Abbasi, Zahid Kazmi, Chaudhry Adnan, Rashid Hafeez, Fiazul Hassan Chohan, Sardar Naseem, Akhtar Mehmood Advocate, Dr Jamal Nasir, Dr Umer, Ibn-e-Rizvi, Raza Shah, Hanif Chaudhry, Malik Ishrat, Imtiaz Ranjha, Zaid Abbasi, Chaudhry Azim, Chaudhry Asghar, Javed Kosar, Chaudry Nisarul Haq, Javed Ikhlas, Afzal Khokhar, Malik Murtaza, Sheikh Rashid Shafiq, Tofeeq Asif Advocate.
Representatives of lawyers community, Anjuman-e-Tajran, journalists and civil society were also present on the occasion.
Qul for the deceased to be held tomorrow (Wednesday) at 5pm at Jinnah Institute of Informatics and Commerce, 6th Road Rawalpindi.
