Eight injured in Rawalpindi house fire

At least eight persons including women and children suffered burn wounds when fire broke out in a house here in Rawalpindi early Thursday morning.

According to details, fire initiated due to gas leakage in a house located in Sangam Town locality of Rawalpindi. Eight people including two women and three children were scorched due to the fire.
Fire brigades and rescue teams reached the scene of the incident and started rescue activities. The fire was brought under control after hectic efforts of more than one hour.
The injured were shifted to Holy Family Hospital for treatment where according to hospital sources condition of all the people was stable.
