RAWALPINDI - Renowned Nuclear Scientist and Director General, Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Dr Inam ur Rehman has said that Islam is a complete code of life and muslims can be successful in this world and thereafter by following teachings of the Holy Quran.
Those writers, poet and intellectuals are appreciable who are making efforts to spread message of Islam and trying hard to improve image of Pakistan through their writings in outside world.
He made these remarks while addressing as chief at a book launching ceremony held at Anjuman Faiz ul Islam here. The book titled “Zoological story from the Holy Quran’ was co-authored by UK-based Pakistani poet Dr Khadim Hussain Khamis and his grandson and scholar, Muhammad Adnan Sakhawat Khamis. The ceremony was also addressed by poets Naseem e Sehar, Safdar Shahid, Prof Dr Mehmood Ahmed, Dr Sajjad Aslam Shami, Prof Irfan Niaz, Ikram Qureshi, Raja Adalat Hussain, Shakila Sabir and Abdul Majeed Amjad.
Inam ur Rehman lauded the efforts of the writers said, Dr Khamis is playing a key role in highlighting the image of the motherland in the United Kingdom (UK).
Other speakers also appreciated the efforts of Dr Khamis and said the book is an important addition to the literary work. They said that Dr Khamis is a true Pakistani and patriot and his book is not only a literary masterpiece but also help understand the Holy Quran and its teaching.
They also expressed a need of Urdu translation of this book for the consumption of students of universities, colleges and schools in Pakistan. In his address, Dr Khamis thanked President of Anjuman Faiz ul Islam, Mian Siddique Akbar, General Secretary, Raja Fateh Khan and participants of the book launching.
He also threw light on various aspects of his book and said the book is collection of his religious lectures, which were delivered to respond propaganda against Islam and Muslims. Adnan Khamis said this book will benefit the youth in the entire world and they can get guidance from it. Safdar Shahd also spoke about the personality and achievement of Dr Khamis and his book.
