Pakistan wants bilateral relations with India to move forward constructively: PM

Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with India and we want the bilateral relations to move forward in constructive manner. He expressed these views while talking to newly appointed High Commissioner to India Salman Bashir who called on Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani at the PM House on Thursday prior to his departure to India to assume his new diplomatic assignment. The PM emphasized importance, which the present government attaches to Pakistan India relations. Yousaf Raza Gilani expressed his strong desire to build further momentum to carry the bilateral relations forward in a constructive manner. He expressed his appreciation for Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh with whom he held several constructive meetings. He directed Salman Bashir to work for the improvement of relations and also convey his personal regards and best wishes to Dr. Manmohan Singh and President of Indian National Congress Sonia Gandhi.
