KARACHI - A couple and an infant were killed in Madina Colony within the remits of Shah Latif Police station.The owner of the house informed the police after repeated knocking on their door. Police rushed to the spot and found the bodies of Sohial Fazal, his wife Sehnaz and one-and-half-year-old baby who were hammered to death. Police found marriage certificate which revealed that the couple hailed form Bahawalpur. They contracted freewill marriage. Police shifted bodies to morgue after autopsy at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. SHO Sajjad Hyder when contacted said that victim family had been shifted into the said house three months ago where unknown culprits reached and gave the some substance to make them unconscious before hammering with cemented block. Police believed that couple got marriage without the consent of their parents and their family members were reached at the house where they gave them some kind of drugs before smashing and managed to flee. Police had yet to register the case while shifted the bodies to the morgue because nobody reached the police station or hospital to collect the bodies.
