KARACHI - The Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) has issued notices to the provincial and federal departments located in city, warning that water connection would be disconnected if defaulter departments did not pay the utility bills within the next seven days. KWSB has also issued notice to the Karachi Municipal Corporation (KMC), which has yet to pay a huge amount of Rs1.38 billion in outstanding water bill.According to the officials, the revenue section of KWSB has expedited the drive to collect the outstanding amount from the defaulter departments including federal ministries, provincial departments and KMC offices located in the city.KW&SB Managing Director Misbhauddin Fareed has requested the customers to pay their dues to have better services.
