CHI - The Pakistan Cricket Board is yet to appoint a special counsellor for speedster Shoaib Akhtar but interestingly some piece of advice came from the chief Lahore High Court justice Syed Zahid Hussain, it would be in his own interest if he obeys to it.
"The chief justice had specifically invited Shoaib Akhtar in the court. He advised him to behave in a humble way," Shoaib's lawyer Abid Hassan Minto said.
"Your behaviour with the PCB chairman, officials, captain, team mates and media always draw crticism. Your attitude in the dressing rooms is also not praiseworthy. Even on tours you are always in the bad news," the High Court judge told Shoaib.
"You are a hero of the nation. The cricket loving public loves you. Then why do you behave like this ?", the judge specially asked to Shoaib.
"Shoaib said sorry and assured the Chief Justice that he would now behave properly," Farrukh Sultan, the lawyer's official, who was also present during the hearing, said.
"No PCB official except their lawyer Taffazul Rizvi was present during the hearing. He argued most of the time with Shoaib's behaviour," Sultan further added. The courts are on summer vacation and the next day for hearing writ petition is kept in September.
