KARACHI - Pakistan Medical Association Sindh and Sindh Welfare Doctors Association have condemned the kidnapping of another young doctor Dr Nayab Gohar recently.
He is a postgraduate trainee of MCPS in Paediatric Department, Baqai Medical University and was on his way to the hospital.
He was abducted from Gulistan-e-Jauhar area. His car was found abundant and a ransom of Rs2 crore was demanded.
Meanwhile, Dr Faisal Iftikhar, 27, had been abducted four weeks ago in Gulshan-e-Hadeed on his way to the clinic. PMA Sindh President Dr Samrina Hashmi, GS PMA Sindh Dr Hadi Buksh Jatoi and Sindh Doctors Welfare Association Convener Dr Mujtaba Memon, in a joint statement, said that the Sindh government was deaf and dumb and only interested in keeping their government safe.
