Pakistan Peoples Party PMA Rafiq Engineer passed away here on Tuesday due to cardiac arrest, media reports said.

Source said the minister suffered heart attack at his home early morning which proved fatal for him. He was shifted to a local hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
Rafique Engineer was an old guard of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and became member of Sindh provincial assembly on PPP ticket from PS-109, Karachi 21.
Bilawal House spokesman in a condolence message issued here said that the deceased was the son of a labourer and he had devoted his entire life for the PPP and Bhutto family.
The funeral prayer of late Rafique Engineer will be offered after Asr prayer in Chakewara mosque, Lyari.
President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Governor Sindh Ishratul Ebad Khan and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah have condoled the death of MPA Rafiq Engineer.
