Lawyers boycott courts

KARACHI  - The lawyers in the City as well as across the Sindh on Monday boycotted all judicial proceedings in protest against the shortage of judges and non-induction of local judges in Sindh High Court (SHC).
Lawyers in Karachi also boycotted courts in line with decision by the Sindh Bar Council (SBC). The council said that the judges from interior Sindh were not included in the process of nomination of new judges in SHC. The Chairman Sindh Bar Council along with other leaders said that there are only 10 judges working despite of the capacity of 40 judges in SHC. The boycott affected the normal court proceedings and brought a lot of problems for the public.
