‘Indian meddling in Balochistan cannot be ruled out’


KARACHI  - Federal Defense Minister Syed Naveed Qamar on Monday said that Balochistan issue was very complicated while the Indian interference in Balochistan cannot be ruled out
He expressed these views in a meeting with Law Minister Farooq H Naek, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Governor Balochistan Zulfiqar Ali Magsi.
They discussed in detail the overall political scenario in country and aggravated law and order situation of Balochistan.
Talking to media, he said that the PPP government was well aware of the ongoing situation in Balochistan. “We intend to find out the solution of issues in Balochistan through constitutional and democratic norms.” Moreover the parliamentary committee is holding talks with all stakeholders in this regard, he added.  
The PPP government is doing its best to establish peace in the province, which is the only way for progress and well-being of the Baloch people, he added.
Talking about the Indian interference in Balochistan, the minister said that former Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani also informed his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh regarding Indian involvement in Balochistan crises.             
‘GOVT WILL COMPLETE ITS FIVE YEAR TERM’: The present democratic government would complete its five years’ term.
This was stated by the Sindh Transport Minister Akhtar Hussain Jadoon. He was talking to various delegations in his office here on Monday.
The minister said that the government was busy resolving the problems of the people.
He further stated that jobs have been provided to quite a number of youngsters on the basis of merit.
Jadoon said that training was being imparted to youths under the Benazir Income Support Programme to enable them to secure jobs and stand on their own feet.
He pointed out that the present government came to power when the country was facing various crises.
However, under the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari the country has been put on the path of progress and development.
3 OUTLAWS ARRESTED: Karachi police raided in the area of Pira Abad and arrested 3 accused involved in different heinous crime here on Monday.
According to police, they got secret information from Khatti Hill and launched operation against criminals in the area of Pira Abad and arrested 3 accused. The arrested criminals Misbah, Hujat Ullah and Kamran were involved in various street crimes.
Police recovered 3 TT pistols, many bullets, weapons, cash, mobiles phones and motorcycle from them. Police registered the case and started further interrogation from them.
