Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) lawmaker from Lyari, Nabil Gabol Monday said that Lyari operation was a conspiracy against his party.

Gabol, who has long been demanding an operation after imposing curfew, said that he was demanding action against criminals.
“I have never asked to besiege whole the locality,” he added.
He said that 10 innocent people, including a child, were killed during the operation, adding that he was also saddened by the killing of police officials in Lyari.
Gabol said that investigation should be carried out into the Lyari operation.
