KARACHI - Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain condemned the incident of abduction and torture of Allama Tahir Ashrafi.

Altaf Hussain praised police and intelligence agencies for risking their lives and rescuing Allama Tahir Asharafi from the detention of kidnappers.
During a telephonic conversation with the Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council Allama Tahir Ashrafi, Altaf Hussain expressed sympathieswith the kidnapped Allama.
He said doors of Nine Zero and London were always opened for him. He demanded President Asif Zardari, Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and security agencies to take immediate action against such sort of incidents.
