KARACHI - The police in their on-going drive against criminals, arrested 28 accused during the past 24 hours. A police statement on Thursday said that those arrested included six absconders while five accused were ‘caught red-handed’. It said that two gangs of alleged criminals were busted by the police and that two policemen had also lost their lives. In all, 10 pistols and one SMG recovered from the possession of the accused, the police statement further pointed out.
