Five persons were shot dead in different areas of the city on Friday.

According to police sources, two limb-tied, tortured bodies of young men were found under the Raxer Bridge, Golimar. They were kidnapped and killed later, police said.
Another tortured dead body of a man, identified as Anwar was found from Mochko while a body of a 30-year-old man was found near Askari Park, PIB Colony. He was identified as Shabbir.
Some unidentified gunmen opened fire at a man near Sindhi Hotel located in Liaquatabad, killing him on the spot. The attackers managed to flee from the spot.
