karachi - The Department of Botany, University of Karachi, has granted scholarships to 9 students on merit-cum-need basis. A university official said on Thursday that these include two MSc students while the remaining ones are studying in the BS First Year. The second semester fee of these students will be paid by the Scholarship Management Committee. According to department’s chairman Prof Dr Javed Zaki, more scholarships woed to the students on merit-cum-need basis.
