KARACHI  - The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) distributed financial assistance cheques of Rs4.8 million among the heirs of the officers and employees who died in service from 2006 to 2011.
An official of the SBCA said that a ceremony to this effect was held on Friday.
Director General of the SBCA, Manzoor Qadir, gave away the financial cheques to the widows and other heirs of the employees who expired from 2006 to 2011 while in service.
He said on the occasion that he shares sorrow and grief of the heirs and that the money would help them meet their basic needs.
The financial assistance cheques were given while implementing the notification of the government of Sindh.
