KARACHI  - The Sindh government on Tuesday imposed a three-day ban on pillion riding in the metropolis, carrying and display of firearms, and public congregations of over five people in Karachi and Hyderabad divisions.  According to a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, pillion riding will remain banned in Karachi from August 8-11. In Hyderabad, the ban will be effective from August 9 to 11. The decision is part of security measures being taken for Youm-e-Ali on August 10 (21st of Ramazan).
