Conspiracies to delay polls to be foiled: PML-N

KARACHI - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Sindh chief and former Chief Minister, Ghaus Ali Shah has said that some elements are busy delaying the elections but all the conspiracies would be foiled.

He was addressing as a chief guest to a ceremony titled ‘14th Farzandan-e-Pakistan Hameed Nizami, Majeed Nizami Educational Award 2012’ at the Arts Council of Pakistan here on Wednesday night.
PML-N leader Justice (r) Ghaus Ali Shah opined that unfortunately democratic system was not allowed to run smoothly in the country, which is the main reason of not completing the constitutional term of the elected governments. He said that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, an elected government was going to complete its constitutional term and democracy norms were flourishing in the country, for which credit goes to two personalities - Chief Justice of Pakistan Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and PML-N chief Mian Nawaz Sharif.
Vice Chancellor of Ziauddin Medical University Professor Dr Shah further said that no one can save the countries where there was no respect for public opinion.
Though, the Indian Army is close to our borders but it has no courage to act because Pakistan is atomic power today, said Ghaus Ali Shah. He called upon the students to safeguard the Two-Nation Theory. He said that there was no need to look into the reasons why the country broke into two pieces. 
Pirzada Qasim while addressing the ceremony said that societies develop through the education, so there was a need of bringing the education revolution in the country. He opined that democracy has been made only political process but it has association with the social process.
Underlining the need to spread the education in the country, Pirzada Qasim said that the countries progress with the currency of the education, which needs no shortcuts. “Pakistan is our identity and we have to follow the principles on which the country was created.”
Earlier, Saeed Khawar also readout the message of the Majeed Nizami, Chief Editor of Nawa-e-Waqt group, who appreciated the efforts of the organisers for arranging a magnificent event and award for the students.
Meanwhile, Yaseen Azad, President Supreme Court Bar Association announced to hold a conference on peace of Karachi in March.  Meanwhile, President of Supreme Court Bar Association, Yaseen Azad, Azad Bin Haider, industrialist Shaikh Manzir Alam, President of Nazaria Pakistan Sindh Chapter Mian Abdul Majeed, educationist Sultan Masood Shaikh, Hafiz Naeemuddin, Abdul Hadi Khan, Rana Ehsan, Amanullah Afridi, Deen Leghari, Rana Ashfaq Rasool, Resident Editor Nawa-e-Qaqt Karachi Saeed Khawar, Zaheer Ahmed Tabbasum, and others also spoke on the occasion.
