KARACHI - The Sindh Government has approved the setting up of a modern laboratory to test the water samples of Keenjhar Lake at the place from where water is supplied to Karachi.This was pointed out in a statement of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) on Thursday. It was expected that this lab would start functioning very soon, the statement added.It pointed out that the Managing Director of the KWSB, Misbahuddin Farid, had requested the Government of Sindh that a modern lab be established to test the water samples from the place where water is supplied to Karachi from the Keenjhar Lake.This would help detect any possible contamination in the water on hourly or daily basis.
