At least four persons including a woman were killed and several others injured as targeted killing continued to claim innocent lives in Karachi on Monday.

According to details, in Disco area of North Nazimabad, a woman identified as Seema, 27, sleeping at roof of her house became victim of strayed bullet.
The police recovered limbed tied tortured dead body of a 25-year-old unidentified youth from Araam Bagh area of city. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital for postmortem. Police said that the deceased was shot to death after abduction and severe torture.
Body of another unknown man was found from North Nazimabad Block-H. Police said that the body’s limbs were tied and it seems that the deceased was killed after he was abducted.
In yet another incident of firing in Lyari an unidentified man was killed. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
Sacchal police during a raid in its jurisdiction arrested two alleged target killers identified as Jehanzeb and Irfan and recovered arms from their possession. The accused in the preliminary interrogation admitted target killing of several persons including a police sub-inspector.
Meanwhile, firing incidents continue in Awami Colony, Super Highway, North Karachi, Sohrab Goth, Lyari and other areas of Karachi in which  more than 10 persons were reported injured. The injured were shifted to different hospitals of concerned areas.
