Lieutenant General Ejaz Chadhry has been appointed as Core Commander Karachi while Major General Rizwan Akhter is appointed as DG Rangers Sindh, sources said on Friday. The reports said that earlier Ejaz Chaudhry was serving as DJ Rangers Sindh while Rizwan Akhter served as General Officer Commanding (GCO) South Waziristan. It is to be mentioned that the appointments were made after Major General Zaheer-ul-Islam was appointed as DG Inter Services Intelligence (ISI).
