KARACHI - Board of Intermediate Examinations Karachi (BIEK) Chairman Anwar Ahmed Zai on Thursday announced that all papers of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part-I & II annual examinations-2012 scheduled to be held at the Government Degree National Boys College would now be held at the Government Degree Boys College, Gulistan-e-Johar. The announcement came in the wake of the attack on invigilators at the Government Degree National Boys College.The BIEK chief said that teachers fighting against the cheating mafia at various colleges of the city deserved great appreciation. Meanwhile, as many as 15 candidates were caught while cheating during Thursday’s papers. EDUCATION MINISTER PRAISES TEACHERS: Sindh Education Minister Pir Mazharul Haq on Thursday condemned the manhandling of Government National College Principal Prof Waseem Adil, saying that fearless attitude of college teachers against the cheating mafia was commendable. The minister inquired after the wounded principal by telephone. He directed Sindh Secretary Education, Director General Colleges Sindh Dr Nasir Ansar and BIEK Chairman Anwar Ahmed Zai to take strict action against those trying to sabotage academic environment in the city.
