KARACHI - Senior journalist and The Nation Karachi Resident Editor, Zamir Shaikh, was admitted to the Liaquat National Hospital here the other day for treatment of dengue fever and neurological deficiencies. Shaikh had a precarious condition two days back. Meanwhile, leaders of different political parties, including the Pakistan People’s Party and Jamaat-e-Islami, have prayed for the early recovery of the ailing journalist.No senior official of the Sindh government has so far bothered to inquire after the journalist.
