KARACHI – The Mohajir Sooba Tehreek on Sunday applauded the remarks of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif about the formation of new provinces in the country.In a press statement, the MST promised that it would gift Kalabagh Dam to the Pakistani nation if Sharif and other influential personalities backed the movement for carving out a Mohajir province. It requested PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and the people of Punjab to support its movement. The MST also called on President Zardari and Prime Minister Gilani to back the demands for Mohajir and Seraiki provinces. It, however, noted with regret that the country’s civil leadership was backing the creation of Seraiki province alone. The MST opined that the formation of new provinces was necessary for the stability and prosperity of Pakistan.
