KARA CHI - Ghulam Abbas Panju has grabbed a semifinal spot in the ongoing Askari Seed Tanking Tennis Championship on Saturday here at the PNS Karsaz synthetic courts. Ghulam Abbas attracted attention as 10-year-old player some years ago and has shown good improvement over the years and as a young man he made his great impact on local scene. He defeated Rehmat Ali Hasan, who after losing the first set 6-3 retired when the score was one all in the second set. Vinod Das moved into the last four defeating Nawab Muzaffar from Mirpurkhas 6-2,6-2. Zaid Soomar also found a place in the semi final when his opponent promising Basit Gabol could not appear for the match due to injury suffered earlier. Results of matches played on Saturday.
