KARACHI  - Four people, including two children, were killed when a speeding passenger bus struck a motorcycle on Super Highway on Sunday.Rescue officials said that a man along with his wife and two children was heading somewhere when a rashly-driven bus hit his bike. The man and the two kids died on the spot, while the woman succumbed to her injuries while being ferried to a hospital, they added. The driver of the bus fled the scene soon after the incident.Meanwhile, the Karachi University has sent a lecturer of the Urdu Department on forced leave as per decision of its syndicate. A probe committee will submit a detailed inquiry report in this regard, a KU statement said on Sunday. The notice has also been issued to Tasneem Marium Sajid, Lecturer of Department of Medicines, for not continuing with teaching process since last few years and a 3-member committee consisting of Muhammad Ali Shujrah, Mumtaz Rahman and Haji Hanif Tayyab would hold the inquiry.
