KARACHI - The Managing Director of Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) Misbhauddin Fareed on Sunday directed the department to take strict action against illegal water connections in the metropolis.He chaired a meeting in his office about the water shortage in the city, he directed DMD technical Services, DMD Revenue and concern chief engineer to takes action against illegal water connection and also to disconnects the illegal connection immediately including farm houses, poultry farms, restaurants located at Super Highway, petrol pumps and car wash centers.He stressed that due to the negligence of the department illegal consumers not only stole water they also damaged the main water supply lines at National Highway and Super Highway.
