KARACHI : Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) has postponed its election rallies scheduled for Sunday. According to details, MQM organised a public gathering in connection with the by-election in PS-103, Nagina Apartments near Hyderi Market North Nazimabad. Hundreds of MQM workers and supporters in shape of rallies reached to attend the procession but from the stage a announcement was made that MQM chief addressed has been postponed, asking the people including women and children to return home.
MQM coordination Committee member Wasay Jalil told the media representatives that due to some other important activities in London MQM chief Altaf Hussain was not able to address the gathering.
The events have been postponed till Monday while the venue and time would remain unchanged.
