KARACHI - Former federal minister Shaukat Tarin has expressed deep sorrow and grief on the demise of MNA Fauzia Wahab.In a statement on Monday, he extended his heartfelt condolence to the family of Fauzia Wahab on her sad demise. He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.Shaukat Tarin said that late Fauzia Wahab will be long remembered both for her outstanding political role as well as her dedication to many social causes. The rights of women and the poor were close to her heart. She fearlessly fought for what she believed in and has left behind a proud legacy of courage and dedication, Shaukat Tarin added.Moreover, Administrator Muhammad Hussain Syed has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of MNA and leading politician Fauzia Wahab. In a statement issued by the KMC here on Monday, he said Fauzia Wahab had an admirable personality and worked as a Member of Advisory Council and as a Chairperson of Media Management Committee in 1994. He said that she took great interest in the progress of Karachi and often used to advice for city projects.
