KARACHI - Former federal minister of National People Party (NPP) escaped in an attack while his security guard was wounded in Bhains Colony Mor within the limits of Shah Latif police station. The criminals escaped from the crime scene. Police said the injured was taken to hospital for treatment. DSP Rao Iqbal said the incident took place at Bhans Colony when NPPP Syed Zia Abbas, going in his car with his son and security guard Dilawar Shah, was attacked by armed men. They tried to stop the car but the driver did not stop. Seeing this they opened fire at the car wounding the guard. Police said the reason was not clear a case has been registered
