The Sindh Assembly on Thursday adopted a bill to revoke the Sindh Peoples Local Government Ordinance (SPLGO) 2012 while restoring Local Bodies Act of 1979 for the Sindh province.

On the occasion, MQM’s Faisal Sabzwari delivered his fiery speech in the house and termed the revocation of the SPLGO as injustice to the people of Sindh.
The lawmakers later staged demonstration outside the house, chanting slogans and condemning the decision.
