Extortion of money by parchi mafia being dealt with sternly: Malik

Federal Adviser for Interior Affairs Abdur Rehman Malik has said that extortion of money ‘parchi’ system would not be allowed in Karachi, and warned that stern action being taken against parchi mafia in the metropolis. Speaking to media persons after holding a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari, he said that directives have been given to fill the gap of police quantity and resources. He added that 15,000 personnel would be recruited in Sindh police. The federal adviser said that banned outfits would not be allowed to collect Fitrah during the month of Ramazan. Malik claimed that PML-N wants to derail democratic system. He said that elections would not delayed owing to petitions. Replying a question, he said that Multan election was a trailer, added that, Pakistan People's Party would also win next election too.
