Two more fall prey to Karachi violence, toll rises to seven

At least seven more including two women have been killed during last 24 hours in Karachi, officials said on Sunday.

Early morning on Sunday, two unknown persons’ dead bodies have been recovered by the police near Sher Shah Bridge.
Earlier, some unknown attackers opened fire on car of DSP Israr Awan of CID police in Patel Para last evening and managed to escape from the scene, leaving the DSP and his body guard injured.
Prior to this recent attack, DSP Israr Awan sustained injuries in another past attack by the miscreants in the metropolitan.
A 22-year old girl’s dead body was found near Aath Chowk, Lyari while another woman’s three days’ old tortured dead body was found from Baldia Town.
In another incident of firing, one person was killed during firing at Dubai Chowk in Gulistan-e-Johar and 35-year old Shehzad was shot dead during firing between rivals over personal enmity in Al-Falah area of the city.
