KARACHI – The Karachi Water & Sewerage Board (KWSB) has started work on its project of setting solar power plants at the pumping stations to ensure smooth supply of water in the city.For this purpose, KWSB has been engaged in talks with famous solar energy research Chinese firm CEEGE. The Chief of this firm Yuming Sun along with his team has visited KWS said a KWSB release on Sunday.KWSB Managing Director discussed in detail the electricity problem facing KWSB that caused disruptions in water supply to the city. It was agreed that KWSB would provide the related data to the Chinese company and Chinese experts would come up with a formal technical plan after analysis of the data/information.
