KARACHI - Newly Elected Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, the PPP candidate for the office of prime minister, telephoned MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, and thanked him for his support.He said that he also belonged to the working class like Altaf Hussain and said it was a matter of pride for him that Altaf Hussain had supported him. He said that there were many challenges but hoped that the country would be pulled out of them by a united effort. Altaf Hussain congratulated Pervez Ashraf on his nomination as prime minister. He said loyalty to one’s party would stand the test of time. Altaf also said that the country was facing some serious problems and prayed for courage and determination for Pervez to solve these.
