KARACHI - The Sindh Assembly on Friday condemned the Punjab government’s MPA, who used abusive language against women MPAs of opposition. It urged the Supreme Court to take suo moto notice against Unification Bloc’s leader Sheikh Alauddin. After budget discussion, Farheen Mughal of ruling PPP drew the attention of the House towards the incident of Punjab Assembly, in which Unification Bloc’s leader Sheikh Alauddin, who is part of the Punjab government, used abusive language against women MPAs of PML-Q.She condemned and chanted slogans of ‘Shame Shame’ against the Punjab ruling MPA. In her support, all the women and male MPAs also stood on their seats, sloganeering ‘shame shame’ against Punjab government. Mughal urged the Supreme Court to take suo moto notice against Unification Bloc’s leader Sheikh Alauddin. She urged the Supreme Court to disqualify the Punjab Assembly’s MPA Sheikh Alauddin and death penalty be awarded to him over his abusive language against women.She said that if any male member had done such thing in the Sindh Assembly, women MPAs of Sindh Assembly would kill him. The PPP MPA also condemned the attitude of the PML-N and said that state aggression was used against women MPAs of Opposition benches.a
