Swiss letter haunts new PM: Petition filed in SHC

An application has been filed in Sindh High Court to direct new PM to write to Swiss officials.

After making Raja Pervez Ashraf party to the case, applicant Maulvi Syed Iqbal Haider said that it is clear from Supreme Court’s judgment that every prime minister is bound to write to Swiss authorities for the reopening of graft cases against president Zardari.
Therefore, the court should direct newly elected prime minister to write to Swiss officials and if he doesn’t write then it should be taken as a violation of court orders. The constitutional application will be heard on Monday.
