KARACHI – Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has decided to impose charged parking on Bachat Bazaars of the City, as frequent complaints of traffic jams and double parking outside the markets during the Ramadan were received.

KMC considering the causes of traffic jam in Ramadan has decided for charged parking nearby saving markets due to rush of citizens in markets and illegal parking on the roads.
A low fee of car parking has been decided to facilitate citizens as Rs10 for car and Rs5 for bike.
KMC Director Charged Parking has appealed to the citizens to fully cooperate with the personnel deployed at the sites of charged parking for improvement of traffic flow and do not pay more than pre-decided fee of parking.
