APML observes Youm-e-Dua for Musharraf’s victory

KARACHI - All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) Saturday observed Youm-e-Dua in Makkah, Madina, India, Azad Jammu andKashmir including Pakistan for success of Pervez Musharraf and solidarity of Pakistan.

As per the statement which was issued from the central secretariat of APML, APML’s overseas leader in Makkah Mukarma, Adnan Arif and Faisal Khan offered prayers at the Khana Kaba and Bait Ullah Sharif for the success of of Pervez Musharraf, and peace and  security of Pakistan.
Moreover, APML’s overseas party leaders and workers offered prayers in Masjid e Nabwi of Madina Munawara (Saudi Arabia), in Indian at the shrine of sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer Sharif, at the durgah of Khawaja Nizam ud Din Aulia in Delhi, and at the shrine of Hazrat Haji Ali in Mumbai, in AJK AMPL leader Nasir Patti Gro offered prayer at the shrine of Hazrat Bal.
In Pakistan, the APML party leaders and workers offered prayers at the shrines of Sufis including Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar in Sindh, Hazrat Abdullah Shah Ghazi, Hazrat Bahaud Din Zakria in Multan, Hazrat Bari Imam, Hazrat Khawaja Ghulam Fareed, Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar, Darhagh Ouch Sharif, Hazrat Data Ganj Bux and at the shrines in KP, Balochistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Youth skills development programme initiated: A ‘Youth Mobile Skills Development Programme’ of worth Rs 15 million has been initiated to impart technical training to youngsters in the backward areas of the province. This was stated by the Sindh Minister for Youth Affairs, Syed Faisal Ali Subzwari, here on Friday while performing the inauguration of this programme. The Minister informed that in the past four years the Department of Youth Affairs has completed the projects worth Rs 443 million. He said that professional training courses had been arranged for youngsters all over the province.
Subzwari said every year training is provided to about 5,000 youth and 50 percent of them get suitable employment opportunities. This speaks of the performance of the Youth Affairs Department, he added.
Sindh Secretary Youth Affairs, Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui, said that for making headway acquisition of higher education is essential.
 Director Youth Affairs, Khurshid Ahmed Shaikh, also spoke on the occasion.
