KARACHI – Board of Intermediate Education, Karachi Chairman Prof Anwar Ahmed Zai has said that in the upcoming intermediate examinations, blind candidates will be given additional 30 minutes time in the papers. He was speaking at the certificate giving ceremony held on Tuesday, organised by a special school. He said that the positions of blind candidates in the results of special candidates will also be determined separately. Meanwhile, special vigilance team of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Tuesday caught as many as 43 candidates using unfair means while paying surprise visit to various examination centres set-up in the city during the paper of SSC Part-I (IX-Class), Science and General Group Annual Examinations-2012. During the paper as many as two fake candidates were also caught. –Reporter
